Manston St James Primary Academy Admissions Consultation for September 2026

Abbey Multi Academy Trust is conducting an important consultation concerning proposed changes to the admissions arrangements at Manston St James Primary Academy. We would like to invite your feedback on this proposal, which we believe will better meet the needs of the local community while ensuring high-quality education and sustainability. 

Manston St James Primary Academy is proposing to reduce its Published Admissions Number (PAN) from 60 to 30 for the 2026-2027 academic year and amend its oversubscription criteria to expand the priority admission area to include new residential developments nearby. This change reflects the evolving demographics of the area and ensures that local families, particularly those in new housing developments, have access to an education rooted in Christian values.

This consultation will run for seven weeks from Monday 2 December 2024 to midday on Monday 20 January 2025. During this time, feedback is invited from all stakeholders.
