Abbey Multi Academy Trust is consulting on proposed changes to the admission arrangements for Manston St James Primary Academy for entry in September 2027.
We are proposing to reduce the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 60 to 30. This proposal follows a review of local pupil numbers and future place requirements. Adjusting our PAN will help the school plan more effectively for the number of pupils expected to join each year, ensuring that staffing and resources are used efficiently and that classes remain well balanced and sustainable.
This proposed change will not affect the quality of teaching or the support available to pupils. Our commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, underpinned by strong Christian values, remains unchanged.
